The IDF has cleared for publication that Master Sergeant (res.) Elisha Levinshtern, 38, from Harish, fell on Wednesday in battle in the southern Gaza Strip.

In addition, an IDF soldier was seriously injured in the battle in which Levinshtern fell.

The injured soldier was taken to the hospital and his family has been notified.
