Following sirens sounding in northern Israel on Monday morning, eight launches from Lebanon were identified as crossing into Israeli territory.

Six of the missiles were intercepted, and two fell in open areas.

Magen David Adom (MDA) said that thus far, no injuries have been reported from the fire.

The IDF later reported, "IDF artillery is striking the sources of the fire."

Monday morning's sirens come close on the heels of similar incidents: Following sirens sounding in northern Israel on Sunday night, the IDF said, "A short while ago an interceptor was launched toward a suspicious aerial target that crossed from Lebanon. The incident has concluded."

"Over the last few hours, a number of launches from Lebanon to Israel were identified. The IDF responded with fire toward the sources of the fire."
