יום הולדת לאליקים ליבמן בעזהבאדיבות

IDF soldier Elisha Libman, who is fighting in Gaza, celebrated the birthday of his brother, Elyakim, who was taken hostage to Gaza by terrorists on October 7.

Together with other soldiers who were with him, Elisha lit two fireworks candles, alongside the numbers 24, and sang the Israeli version of "Happy Birthday."

"We will bring you back, Elyakim," Libman promised his brother. "We are celebrating your birthday. We love you and we miss you, Am Israel Chai."

Last month, Ohad Munder celebrated his 9th birthday while in Hamas captivity in Gaza.

Ohad is the only child of Keren and the only grandchild of his grandparents, Ruthi and Avraham Munder, and had traveled with his mother to spend the Simchat Torah holiday with her parents in Kibbutz Nir Oz.

At 7:24 a.m. on the morning of October 7, Keren sent a message to her partner Avi in which she wrote that she heard gunshots in the Kibbutz and there were reports of a terrorist infiltration. Keren updated him that they were all sitting in the shelter and were only leaving to use the restroom.

Keren, Ohad, and the grandparents, Ruthi and Avraham, were all taken hostage by Hamas.Related articles:
