A bus full of passengers fell into a ditch this morning near Kibbutz Gan Shmuel in northern Israel. Several passengers were lightly injured.

A large force from Magen David Adom (MDA) reported that 40 passengers were extracted from the bus and checked by paramedics at the scene. Some of them required medical care and were taken to Hillel Yaffe Hospital in Hadera.

MDA paramedics Roi Gimpovich and Yossi Azoulai commented: "We arrived quickly at the scene and saw a bus full of passengers that had veered into a ditch near the road. Miraculously, it had not rolled over. Inside the bus were about 40 passengers, all of whom managed to exit the vehicle."

"We performed triage to check if any of the passengers were injured. A 57-year-old man and a 67-year-old woman had suffered minor injuries. We provided first aid and evacuated them to Hillel Yaffe Hospital. They were fully conscious at the time. All other passengers were checked at the scene and did not need further care."
