On Saturday evening, following the sirens that sounded in the Golan Heights, northern Israel, two launches were identified from Syria toward Israeli territory that fell in open areas, the IDF confirmed.
The IDF is striking the source of the attack in Syrian territory.
On Friday, IDF spokesman Daniel Hagari had a message for Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad, after the IDF attacked targets in Syria in retaliation for a UAV launch towards Eilat.
"We attacked a terrorist organization that launched an unmanned aircraft into our territory. This is the same aircraft that hit the school in Eilat. We will continue and respond decisively to any target of any terrorist organization,” Hagari said in a press briefing.
“Syria is a sovereign country and the Syrian regime is responsible for any action that takes place on its territory," he added.
