MK Ze'ev Elkin, a member of the Knesset's Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, turned to Israel's defense echelon demanding details regarding Jordan's delivery of aid to Gaza, Israel Hayom reported.
According to Israel Hayom, Elkin demanded explanations, but did not receive a response.
Israel Hayom also sent messages to sources in the defense echelon, but did not receive a response. The echelon is not answering whether the aid air-dropped Sunday night was examined, or what exactly it contained.
Jordan's King Abdullah II announced on X, formerly Twitter, "Our fearless air force personnel air-dropped at midnight urgent medical aid to the Jordanian field hospital in Gaza."
He added, "This is our duty to aid our brothers and sisters injured in the war on Gaza. We will always be there for our Palestinian brethren."
A Jordanian military source said the delivery included emergency medical equipment, the site added.
An IDF spokesman said that the Jordanian activity was done in full coordination with the IDF, and that the equipment will serve the hospital's staff and patients.
