The Hamas terrorist organization published a video this afternoon (Monday) of three of its hostages in which the hostages criticize Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The video was published as part of Hamas' campaign of psychological warfare against the State of Israel.
In the video, the hostages state that Netanyahu has abandoned them.
Israel National News - Arutz Sheva has decided not to share the video on its website.
At least 230 Israelis and foreign citizens were taken hostage by Hamas and other terrorist organizations in Gaza during the massacre of October 7. So far, Hamas has released four hostages, all women. The first two hostages to be released are American citizens. The second pair are elderly Israeli women.
The terrorist organization has threatened at several points to execute its hostages if Israel continued its retaliation for the massacre of over 1,400 people on October 7.
Prime Minister Netanyahu responded to the video: "I turn to Yelena Trupanov, Danielle Aloni, and Ramon Kirsht who were kidnapped by Hamas, which is committing war crimes. I embrace you. Our hearts go out to you and the other abductees."
"We are doing everything we can to bring all the kidnapped and missing people home," he said.
The Prime Minister's Office called the video "cruel psychological propaganda by Hamas-ISIS."
The video was released shortly after terrorists in Gaza launched at least six rockets at the Jerusalem area. The barrage was the first rocket attack on Jerusalem in two weeks.
Red alert sirens were activated throughout the capital and the surrounding areas. Multiple rockets were intercepted by the Iron Dome missile defense system. One rocket landed just south of Bethlehem.
No injuries have been reported as a result of the attack on Jerusalem.
