Dozens of journalists and photographers from Israel and around the world, this afternoon (Friday, 13 October 2023), participated in a special tour held by the Government Press Office in conjunction with the IDF Spokesperson, at the IDF Shura base.
Personnel from the IDF Rabbinate and the IDF Manpower Directorate presented the identification processes currently being carried out on hundreds of massacre victims, including women, children and many infants. The correspondents were exposed to difficult scenes and the scope of the attack on civilians.
The correspondents were informed that with rabbinical approval, the work will continue on Shabbat in order to hasten – by as much as possible – the identification process and the burials.
