A driver sped towards protesters demonstrating near the city of Kfar Saba on Monday evening, causing at least three people to suffer light injuries.
Police from the Kfar Saba police station began searching the area, arresting the driver who hit protesters who were blocking the Malal Junction on Highway 531 near Kfar Saba.
MK Gideon Sa'ar (National Unity) said, "What happened now on Route 531 was a ramming attack in every way, and that is how the police and enforcement authorities need to treat it. We must use all means to identify the rammer as soon as possible, arrest him, and bring him to trial."
MK Yair Lapid (Yesh Atid) claimed that the ramming is "the product of direct incitement by the Prime Minister, who has lost control, and of extremist and and reckless ministers. This is a hate crime in every sense of the word."
