Prisoners in the Dekel Prison in Be'er Sheva on Monday night lit a number of mattresses and sheets on fire in one of the cells, Kikar Hashabbat reported.
Prison staff began working to extinguish the fire and within a few minutes had gained control of the flames. At the same time, staff worked to evacuate the prisoners from the cell.
