The family of Hallel and Yagel Yaniv donated their sons' corneas after they were brutally murdered by an Arab terrorist in a shooting attack near Huwara in Samaria. At the Beilinson Hospital in Petach Tikva on Sunday, the victims' family met the recipients who received the gift of sight.

Esti Yaniv, Hallel and Yagel's mother, stated during the meeting: "When the news reported the mapping out and demolition of the terrorist's home, I always pictured my sons. My story is tragic, and a lot of times, the media only reports tragedies, but the people of Isreal also have a lot of nice things."

She recounted: "We have been signing the Adi (organ donor) card for many years, and Hallel also signed it. We didn't know if Yagel signed it, but we felt that this is what he would have wanted, and later on, we even found his card."

I thought that we needed to take the light from their eyes and pass it on - to look at the world in a good light. Even when we don't agree - we all do it out of worry for the people of Israel and the land of Israel. I so much want them to take that good perception and bring a lot of good to the people of Israel," the mother added.
