As part of the celebrations for Lag B'Omer at the shrine of the sage Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai in Meron, the Israel Dog Unit (IDU), a nonprofit organization specializing in search and rescue, is asking the assistance of the crowds expected to attend in finding three missing persons last seen in the Meron area.
Avraham Moshe Kleinerman, who was 16 at the time of his disappearance, was last seen on Friday, March 25, 2022, in the area of the shrine.
Moshe Eliezer Ilovich, father of five, about 37 years old at the time of his disappearance, was last seen on the eve of May 18, 2019 in the Burma Road area between the shrine and the Old Synagogue of Meron.
Habib Ben Abu, about 81 years old at the time of his disappearance, was last seen on May 17, 1995 in the Meron area.
Those attending the celebration are asked to pray for the welfare and safer location of the missing persons, and to report any information that may lead to them to the IDU hotline at 0544976709.
