An Israeli from the center of the country has been arrested after publishing a video on social media calling for haredim to "hang themselves" and for the murder of the prime minister.

According to a report on Yeshiva World News, police from the Petah Tikva police department saw the video and opened an investigation against the man. He was soon located, and after being questioned, was released to house arrest under restrictive conditions.

In the video, the man says, "There are some people who should die. I want blood to be spilled. If only they would throw grenades … kill someone – only then will they understand. There’s a stupid Bibi there – what’s important to him is [expletive] and Sara his wife and his retarded child – they must be killed! They must be killed!"

He then turned his attention to haredim and religious Jews, saying, "There’s a train line nearby, there are cables there – they should hang themselves with their tefillin from here until Bnei Brak.

"I hate anyone who wears a kippah," he adds. "They caused it. I can’t stand all the religious people – they’re [expletive]. They caused me to be in this position of hating anyone who wears a kippah. They should hang themselves with their tefillin from here until Bnei Brak."
