IDF reservists from the "Im Tirtzu" moved arrived this morning (Tuesday) to protest in front of former Prime Minister Ehud Barak's house in Tel Aviv after Barak called for civil disobedience in response to the government's planned judicial reforms.

On Saturday night, Barak said at an anti-government demonstration that the judicial reforms are an "assassination of the declaration of independence, which will turn Israel into a dictatorship."

He went on to say that "when there is a gun to your temple, you first eliminate it," and called on Israelis to walk the path of nonviolent civil disobedience."

The Im Tirzu activists who demonstrated outside the former prime minister's home today called "for an end to his incitement" and demanded that Barak stop calling for a "civil war."

Shai Rosengarten, Capt. In the Navy Reserves, said: "Ehud Barak is undermining the foundations of democracy and trying to drag us into a fratricidal war. The police must enforce the law and stop him!"

Clara Bensoussan, a reserve Magav soldier, added: "I came from France to Israel to witness the unity and building of the country, Ehud Barak will not be allowed to destroy the state of the Jewish people."

Matan Jerafi, a reserve fighter in the Golani Brigade, said that "the people denounced Ehud Barak and showed him the way out of politics. His attempts to incite his way back into politics by inciting violence will not succeed! The police must act and arrest him."
