Emily Austin, a Jewish social media influencer, TV host and media consultant for the Israeli delegation at the UN, commented at an event with Mike Pompeo and MK Simcha Rothman hosted by the Israel Heritage Foundation: "Part of combating antisemitism is stating the obvious - not to be afraid of who you are."
“Everyone says the Jews were sheeps to the slaughter," she commented, referring to the Holocaust. “And the reason being was everyone was afraid to be vocal and proud of their identity".
"This goes beyond Judaism," she said. " It doesn't matter what religion - if you are afraid of who you are, your identity will be threatened."
