A plane carrying 72 passengers and crew crashed in Nepal Sunday morning.

Hundreds of rescue and military personnel are at the scene searching for survivors. State authorities stated that at least 40 deaths have been confirmed so far.

The Yeti Airlines aircraft was flying from Kathmandu to the tourist town of Pokhara, and went down about one mile from the airport.

Initial reports indicate that the plane carried, in addition to the four crew members, there were also two babies and ten to fifteen foreign citizens.

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Daha called an emergency cabinet meeting following the crash,

A spokesman for the Nepalese military stated that the chances of finding any survivors are zero.
