The funeral of Matan Zinman, the six-year-old boy who was killed Wednesday in a car accident, was held at the Har Hamenuhot cemetery in Jerusalem Thursday afternoon.

Matan was killed in a head-on collision with a vehicle from the Palestinian Authority in Binyamin. His mother and four siblings were injured in the crash and taken to different hospitals.

Matan's father, Haim, eulogized his young son: "I love you my son. Your mother really wanted to come and she can't, but she wanted me to tell you 'you were a sweet boy, I wanted to see you grow up and it won't happen'. Your bag is ready for first grade. You talked about it for two years - but you won't be able to be In first grade, unfortunately."

"Thank you my son for the six years full of joy you brought us . We will never forget you," he added.

Matan's sister, Emunah, wrote to him: "I will always have a place for you in my heart."

Earlier, Matan's father Haim stated that the collision was no accident but a deliberate attack.

"We are hurting and sad," said Zinman. "Every day we drive on these roads there is fear of stones and accidents. There is carnage and killing and loss. Rivka and the children also saw the vehicle, a large white one, speeding up and driving in their direction. Rivka tried to brake and the children were wearing seat belts and there was no one else on the road."

When looking at all the facts, this was no car accident. If it happened in the center of the country, it would not be on the agenda. We want the case to be investigated. There are no policemen or soldiers on the roads today. Every day there are stones thrown. Think of our child. Our child is gone. Our children have fractures and injuries all over their bodies and it hurts."
