On Sunday night, IDF, Israel Security Agency (Shabak), and Israeli Police forces conducted counterterrorism activities in a number of locations in Judea and Samaria, including in the towns of Al-Khader, Hableh, Ni'lin and Beita.
Security forces operating in the city of Hebron and apprehended five terror suspects. In addition, the forces located and confiscated an M16 assault rifle and other illegal weapons.
Moreover, IDF soldiers operated in the town of Jalazone and apprehended four terror suspects.
During the activity, several suspects hurled rocks and bricks at the soldiers, who responded with live fire.
During the activity in the town of Kafr 'Aqab, several suspects hurled rocks, lit fireworks and shot at IDF and Israel Border Police vehicles and forces, who responded with riot dispersal means and live fire. Hits were identified.
No IDF injuries were reported.
A total of 11 individuals suspected of involvement in terrorist activities were apprehended overnight and a number of weapons were located and confiscated.
The suspects and confiscated weapons were transferred to security forces for further processing.
