Around 3,000 Israelis from all parts of the country gathered in Tekoa, Gush Etzion on Thursday night, for the seventh annual Tekoa Beer Festival.
The event featured beers from 15 local breweries, local street food, and artisan sales. The evening was highlighted by a rocking performance by the legendary band Ethnix who played some of their all-time greatest hits. A DJ took over after the live show, mixing beats until around 2am, as participants danced the night away.
Gush Etzion Regional Council Head Shlomo Ne’eman attended the event and commented: "Seven years of impressive and unforgettable festivals in Tekoa. The annual event provides another opportunity for Israelis to visit and get to know beautiful Gush Etzion, situated close to Jerusalem and the center of the country."
"The event has become a summer staple in Gush Etzion and in Judea/Samaria, and unites people of all stripes from all parts of Israel. It is one of the many special events which will take place in Gush Etzion this summer break, and I invite everyone to come enjoy the Gush this summer. Come experience our breathtaking views, very close to home."
Gush Etzion Tourism Division Head David Rodman added: "I am proud to continue the amazing tradition of hosting the annual Tekoa Beer Festival in Gush Etzion. Thousands enjoyed the event, which was catered to diverse groups of Israelis."
