A violent brawl broke out on Sunday evening during a Hanukkah candle-lighting event at the International Convention Center (Binyanei Ha’Umah) in Jerusalem.
According to accounts, participants refused to follow guidelines prohibiting smoking at the venue. In footage from the scene, several people can be seen throwing chairs at security officials at the entrance to the Center. Police were summoned to the scene, and several youths required medical attention.
