Norway Awards Hamas' Collaborationist Doctor

The Royal Norwegian Order of St. Olav is bestowed to individuals as a reward for "remarkable accomplishments on behalf of the country and humanity". This year the recipient of this prestigious award is the anti-Semitic cardiologist and pro-Hamas doctor Erik Fosse

Dr. Fosse came to Gaza during the Cast Lead War, claiming that he wanted to provide medical assistance to the Palestinian Arabs. His trip to Gaza was paid for by the Norwegian Foreign Ministry. Later it became known that Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh and other Hamas terrorists took over an entire ward of Fosse's hospital during the war in order to stay safe..

During the war, Fosse was one of the global faces of Hamas propaganda. He was the darling of Western reporters.

After the war, Fosse wrote a best-selling book, "Eyes in Gaza", which received a recommendation from former Conservative Prime Minister Kare Willoch. In the book, Fosse claimed that Israel had gone into Gaza to kill women and children. This is a mutation of the classic blood libel.

The book charges Israel of "a comprehensive massacre on defenceless, unarmed civilian Palestinians", a "merciless slaughter of women and children", it contains photographs of maimed Palestinian children and portrays Israelis as heartless "monsters".

According to "Norway, Israel and the Jews", a brave Norwegian blogger, Fosse's actions from and on Gaza have been "the most spectacular public relations endeavour to be carried out by any Norwegian ever since adventurer and explorer Fridtjof Nansen won international recognition for Norway by crossing Greenland on foot in 1888".

Fosse' case reminds one of  "Trifles for a Massacre" by Louis-Ferdinand Céline, a doctor and writer who in 1939 published this call for Jews to disappear from France: “We will finish off the Jews, or we will die because of the Jews." A couple of years later the gas chambers began to liquidate Judaism. As Céline was later condemned for "collaborationism", Fosse should be tried for being a collaborator with Palestinian terrorists.

Dr. Erik Fosse is the perfect example of the new anti-Semitism: denationalized and secularized, casting Zionism as a cause of anti-Semitism, calling the Israelis Nazis, with an internationalist, universalist and third-worldist worldview, supporting international and transnational institutions, dominating the mainstream media, based in charities, pressure groups, campaigning networks.

And now recipient of Europe's highest civilian honors and awards.

Fosse's anti-Semitism is also typical of the medical war on Israel. Maria Cristobal, mental health coordinator for Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders, just released an anti-Israel report titled "The fight against hopelessness", which doesn't even mention Palestinian terrorism as a cause of Israel's checkpoints and other security measures.

Dr. Marie Pierre Allie, President of the french branch of the organization, denounced Israel's self defense actions in Gaza as worse than the Darfur genocide in the Sudan.

The Red Cross recently helped the Palestinian Arab terrorists to foment the prisoners' war against Israel, fabricating the myth of Arabs tortured or starved to death in the Israeli jails.

During the Second Intifada, Red Crescent ambulances commonly served as “Trojan horses” to transport terrorists and weaponry through the "West Bank" and Gaza, while the east Jerusalem office of the Red Cross became the de facto headquarters of Hamas terrorists.

Medical magazines are also reviving the blood libels. The Lancet, leading British medical journal, just published two editorials demonizing the Jewish State (March 9 and 16). In October 2012 alone the magazine published eight separate items on Israel. The Lancet editorial adopted a defaming tone, reflected by its title "Israeli doctors accused of collusion in torture."

These Western, liberal and humanitarian physicians like Dr. Fosse have deployed tens of thousands of aid workers and volunteers on missions of mercy worldwide. But when it comes to Israel, they are cruel, anti-Semitic executioners.

Their Hippocratic Oath doesn't apply to the Israeli people. The Nazis used to say "unwertes Leben". Unworthy lives.

Dr. Fosse's malignant writings contain the harvest of death of Western contemporary conscience. It is the face of the putrid and spiteful hate for the Jews.
