Every human being - all Adam's descendants - are judged and given new life at this holy time. We endeavor to recognize and declare the sovereignty of the Creator, and the penetrating blasts of the shofar remind us of His coronation, while beckoning to us to be mindful of our own great potential for change and total restart.
