The Hezbollah terrorist organization early on Wednesday morning launched two explosive drones toward IDF soldiers in the area of the Ali al-Taher Ridge.
IDF soldiers opened fire and downed one of the drones. No IDF injuries were reported.
In response to this attack, the IDF struck Hezbollah terror infrastructure in the area of Nabatieh in southern Lebanon.
"The sites struck were used by Hezbollah terrorists to plan and direct terror attacks targeting Israeli civilians and IDF soldiers in the Security Zone," the IDF emphasized. "These strikes were carried out in order to eliminate an immediate threat."
"IDF soldiers will continue to operate in the ridge area and will not allow terrorists in the area to advance and execute attacks against IDF soldiers.
"The IDF is currently operating and will continue to act with determination against Hezbollah’s repeated attempts to harm IDF soldiers."
