The IDF on Sunday struck in the Khan Yunis area in southern Gaza, eliminating Hazem Mousa, a Nukhba terrorist from Hamas’ military wing who infiltrated the Re’im camp during the October 7th Massacre.

In an additional strike on Monday, the IDF and ISA struck in the Khan Yunis area and eliminated Razek Sahil Suleiman Abu Shahma, a Nukhba terrorist who also infiltrated the Re’im camp during the October 7th Massacre and served as Yahya Sinwar’s bodyguard.

"Recently, the terrorists continued to advance terror attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians while also attempting to rebuild Hamas’ capabilities, all in violation of the ceasefire agreement," the IDF revealed in a statement following the strikes. "They were struck in order to remove the threat they posed."

"Prior to the strike, steps were taken to mitigate harm to civilians, including the use of precise munitions and aerial surveillance."

The IDF added, "IDF troops under the Southern Command remain deployed in the area in accordance with the agreement and will continue to operate to remove any threat."
