Tal Yinon Dardik ascended the Temple Mount on Thursday morning, the first day of the Hebrew month of Elul, shortly after being released from detention.
The many worshippers present welcomed him with excitement and festive singing as he entered the site.
Rabbi Elisha Wolfson, head of the Temple Mount yeshiva, blessed Dardik and said: “The Holy One, blessed be He, will remove from you all the judgments you suffer for all of us. The Holy One, blessed be He, will grant you strength and powers, and whoever wants to limit you. The Holy One, blessed be He, will limit him, and remove from you all the judgments. May you merit to settle the Land with joy."
During his ascent, Dardik asked Rabbi Wolfson to bless his wife and their young son, who was born approximately two weeks before his detention.
Rabbi Wolfson offered a blessing for the mother and child: “He who placed His name in this holy place will bless the woman who is giving birth and her son, and will keep them from every trouble and distress and from every affliction and illness, and may you merit to see and to be partners in the building of the Temple."
