Likud activist Hadar Muchtar published a message to her supporters on Wednesday, addressing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's decision not to grant her an exemption from the Likud's minimum membership period.
The decision, announced earlier this week, effectively prevents Muchtar from running in the party's upcoming primaries.
"Hi everyone," she began. "I want to thank you for the support, the trust, and the beautiful and long journey we've taken together - a journey that is not yet over."
Muchtar argued that running as part of the Likud could have helped both the party and the right-wing bloc.
"I think my contribution to a Likud and right-wing victory could have been significant as a candidate on the Likud's slate for the next Knesset," she wrote.
At the same time, Muchtar stressed that she intends to continue her public activities, adding, "The journey is not over yet. This is not the time for summaries."
