A new Channel 14 News poll published Monday evening gives the right-wing bloc a majority of 62 Knesset seats. Likud, led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, gains two seats compared with the previous poll and leads with 33 seats.
Gadi Eisenkot’s Yashar party places second with 23 seats. Shas and the Democrats each receive 10 seats, while Yisrael Beytenu wins eight.
The Beyachad party and United Torah Judaism each receive seven seats, while Otzma Yehudit and Religious Zionism each win six. Hadash-Ta’al and Ra’am each receive five seats.
In terms of blocs, the right-wing bloc stands at 62 seats, the center-left bloc at 48, and the Arab parties at 10.
Below the electoral threshold are Balad with 2.3%, Zehut with 1.3%, the Reservists’ Zionist Home party with 1.2%, Gilad Erdan’s party with 0.9%, Ofer Winter with 0.6%, and Blue and White with 0.4%.
When respondents were asked who is best suited to serve as prime minister, Netanyahu led with 54% support. Eisenkot received 34%, Naftali Bennett 6%, Avigdor Liberman 5%, and Benny Gantz 1%.
