A terrorist detained at a military base on Saturday attacked a female IDF soldier after freeing himself from his handcuffs.
The soldier was lightly injured and evacuated for medical treatment.
The incident occurred Saturday morning at a military base in the Jordan Valley, after the suspect, who was detained at the scene due to suspicion of involvement in terror activities, succeeded in freeing himself.
A second female soldier who was at the scene initiated an arrest protocol which included firing towards the terrorist, and succeeded in neutralizing him.
The soldier who was injured was evacuated to the hospital in light condition, and her family was notified.
