IDF surveillance on Tuesday morning spotted a drone crossing into Israel from Egypt into Israeli territory in an attempt to smuggle weapons.
Soldiers from the Caracal Battalion were dispatched to the area and successfully located the drone.
Mounted on it were four standard MAG medium-range machine guns.
The seized weapons were transferred to security authorities for investigation in order to trace the smugglers and the intended destination of the machine guns.
