Oksana Kipper, wife of Ziv Kipper, the Israeli businessman who was murdered in Alexandria, Egypt, is certain that her husband was murdered on nationalistic grounds because he was Jewish, she said in an interview she gave on Wednesday to Bechatzi Hayom, on Kan Reshet Bet.

In the interview she said that he was not robbed, and he was only doing business in Egypt. When asked if she was afraid, she answered: "On the one hand, I am neither Jewish nor Israeli, but on the other hand, I am the wife of an Israeli, so it is possible that for this they will want to harm me. In any case, I have no intention of staying in Egypt."

She added that she has a daughter who is with her in Egypt, and that if she decides to live in Israel, where her husband will be buried, she will need aid from the state because she does not speak Hebrew and has no job.

Kipper was an Israeli Jew who lived in Egypt. He also held Canadian citizenship, with which he entered the country. Earlier today, the Egyptian Ministry of the Interior announced that it was a "criminal shooting" and that the law authorities had formed a team to investigate the circumstances of the incident.
