Magen David Adom (MDA) reports that an Israeli man has been murdered in a terrorist shooting attack at the British Police Junction in the Binyamin region Sunday morning.
MDA medics and paramedics responded to reports that a person had been critically wounded in the shooting and were unable to revive the victim and were forced to declare his death at the scene.
MDA EMT Binyamin Rosenbaum said, "We were quickly on scene, we saw a male of approximately 30 years old who was unconscious, not breathing and with no pulse, with gunshot wounds to his body. We performed a medical assessment but his injury was critical, and we had to pronounce him deceased."
The initial investigation showed that the victim was shot in the upper body through his windshield. He has been identified as Amar Mansour, an Arab Israeli citizen and resident of eastern Jerusalem who was driving with a yellow Israeli license plate.
The attack occurred on a stretch of road where there is little to no cellular reception.
Security forces have been dispatched to search for the shooter or shooters.
