Qatar has warned Hamas against breaking the ceasefire agreement, reports said.
According to a Channel 12 News report, Qatar sent a message to Hamas, warning, "Quit the games, it'll hurt you."
The warning follows a statement by Hamas that the release of the second group of hostages would be delayed, and a response by Israeli security sources giving Hamas until midnight to release the captives.
Meanwhile, Egypt is also working to resolve the matter: Reports by Egyptian media say that Egyptian efforts to resolve the crisis are close to bringing about a resolution, so that a second group of hostages will be released, along with the second group of terrorists.
Channel 12 News quoted a source in Magen David Adom (MDA), who explained why the release of hostages is not on the horizon at the moment: "Until this moment, the Red Cross has not yet sent a place to meet up. With the first group, Hamas directed the Red Cross to a precise point where they would be able to receive the Israeli hostages - and also sent their details."
"Unlike yesterday, today no meeting location has been sent: MDA is trying to contact the Red Cross, but without success."
