MK Almog Cohen (Otzma Yehudit) led a special tour of the Gaza region for the staff of Touro University in California, among them Touro president Professor Alan Kadish, and Vice President Rabbi Moshe Krupka, who arrived in the country for a visit of solidarity and identification with Israel.

Since the war began, a wave of antisemitism has swept through academic institutions throughout the world, and many people have begun to support the Hamas narrative.

The Touro University in California, with over 20,000 students, has considerable influence throughout the United States of America

MK Cohen, who fought in the battle for Ofakim, described to them the events of the 7th of October, and extolled the bravery of the police officers who saved the Negev and Gaza border region.

“This was a battle against all odds. The massive quantity of ammunition the terrorists brought with them put us at a tactical disadvantage, and we had several complicated and intense engagements. The soldiers and police officers, along with civilians who fought alongside them, displayed supreme bravery and thought at risk of their own lives, to protect the people and our homeland. This is a nation of lions,” MK Cohen told the visitors.

“The world must straighten itself out and look at the horrific massacre and rape of women, the elderly, and children, committed by animalistic individuals, heirs to the Nazis, who continue to hold our people captive. This is a war of light and truth against darkness and lies. The world must stand on the side of truth.”

Members of the delegation thanked MK Cohen for the important tour and promised to become faithful ambassadors of Israel and work to the best of their ability for the State. They also invited MK Cohen to visit California and speak about the 7th of October across the United States of America.
