In a joint activity of the ISA and IDF in the city of Tulkarm in the Menashe region, four terrorists from the terrorist infrastructure in Tulkarm, which is responsible for carrying out dozens of shooting attacks, and planning additional attacks, were eliminated by a joint force from the two organizations.

Of the four terrorists who were eliminated, two were senior members of the infrastructure was Jahad Shahada, 24 years old, a major terrorist operative who headed the infrastructure, and Ezz Edin Awad, 28 years old, a terrorist operative from the senior ranks of the infrastructure. Both were residents of the Tulkarm refugee camp.

Over the past few months, the ISA located a terrorist infrastructure that was based in the Tulkarm refugee camp and was responsible for carrying out dozens of shooting attacks in the region against Israeli targets.

It was reported that the infrastructure operated under the guidance and funding of operatives from the Gaza Strip and abroad on behalf of the terrorist organization Hamas and other organizations while receiving hundreds of thousands of shekels to promote terrorist activity.

As part of the supervision of the infrastructure terrorists, the ISA discovered plans to obtain weapons, manufacture explosives, recruit terrorists, and carry out attacks in Israel's less defended areas.

2 M16-type weapons that were used by the squad were seized by the security forces in the field.

The Commander of the Border Guard, Brigadier General Yitzchak praised the activity of the forces and said "The integration of all of our forces in cooperation with the intelligence information of the ISA proves once again that it is the tie-breaker in the fight against terrorism. We will continue to act with strength and determination together with the security bodies to maintain the security of the citizens and the state. I am proud of our soldiers who protect the homeland with their bodies."

A military official said, "The assassination expresses the step up in the central command against the terrorists of the terrorist organization Hamas. Anyone who thinks of harming civilians or our forces, we will reach him and we will come to an account with him. We have a wide range of tools, there will be no cities of refuge for terrorists."
