US Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Thursday morning landed at Ben Gurion International Airport, for a visit showing solidarity with Israel.
Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen (Likud) greeted Cohen, saying, "The nation of Israel will never forget the American support during these difficult days."
"I thank my friend, Secretary of State Antony Blinken, President Biden, and all of our friends in the US for standing unambiguously at Israel's side, condemning terror, and supporting the State of Israel's right to protect itself and its citizens. We are fighting a murderous terror organization, and we will win this war."
Later on Thursday, Cohen and Blinken will meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Separately, Israeli President Isaac Herzog will meet Blinken at 3:00p.m. on Thursday.
