On Wednesday night, an anti-government protest turned violent as protesters rioted against the reform.

Among the targeted MKs and ministers are: Justice Minister Yariv Levin (Likud), Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana (Likud), Defense Minister Yoav Gallant (Likud), Science Minister Ofir Akunis (Likud), Intelligence Minister Gila Gamliel (Likud), Culture and Sport Minister Miki Zohar (Likud), Economy Minister Nir Barkat (Likud), Negev and Galilee Minister Itshak Waserlauf (Otzma Yehudit), Women's Progress Minister May Golan (Likud), Danny Danon (Likud), Ariel Kallner (Likud), and Hanoch Milwidsky (Likud).
"Between dictatorship and the State of Israel, millions of Israelis are going to show up in the coming weeks who with their bodies will defend the founders' vision of equality and freedom. Whoever thinks of trampling the values of the Declaration of Independence and cutting Israel off from the free nations will discover that the nation of Israel responds with all its might," the protests' organizers promised.
"We will come tomorrow, masses of Israeli patriots, to the homes of the cooperators, and we will clarify to them that so long as they advance dictatorship, we will not give them a moment of peace. [Prime Minister] Netanyahu and his cooperators need to understand: It won't be fast, it won't be a blitz, and it won't be in any form. Israel will not be a dictatorship."
