The Yesh Atid Party demanded, during talks on the judicial reform which were held on Thursday, that decisions regarding the Judicial Selection Committee be made at the beginning of next week.
A source in the party told Channel 12 News, "There is no point in wasting time, everyone knows what the limits are, Netanyahu needs to decide if he is serious."
The President's Residence, meanwhile, issued an update on the continuation of the talks between the negotiating teams on the judicial reform, noting that the teams of the coalition, Yesh Atid and the National Unity Party concluded the first round of discussions on the various issues.
"The purpose of the first round of discussions, which concluded today, was to allow the parties to present their positions on the various issues in a broad, detailed and reasoned manner. The discussions were conducted in a serious, in-depth and thorough manner as to fundamental issues of governance and law that affect the character of the country," the statement added.
"The discussions are expected to continue out of a full commitment to trying to reach broad agreements that will prevent the continuation of disputes and crisis," said the President's Residence.
