The IDF announced its intention to demolish the home of the terrorist who carried out the double bombing attacks in Jerusalem in this past November.
According to a statement from the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit published on Monday morning, an announcement was made on Sunday about the IDF's intention to demolish the home where the terrorist Aslam Farouk lived, in the city of Ramallah.
The terrorist carried out the attack on November 23, 2022, in two locations in Jerusalem, when he placed and activated explosive devices at the entrance to the city and at the Ramot intersection.
Two Israelis were murdered in the attack: Aryeh Schupak, a 15-year-old yeshiva student, and Tadessa Tshuma, who suffered critical injuries in the attack and succumbed to his injuries several days later.
The family of the terrorist was given the opportunity to petition the demolition.
In early January, IDF soldiers operated in the city of Ramallah to survey the home of the terrorist ahead of its demolition.
