The condition of the IDF paratrooper who was seriously wounded in a shooting attack by the City of David in Jerusalem on Saturday took a turn for the worse Tuesday night.
The family of the 22-year-old soldier held a public prayer service for his recovery at the Western Wall Tuesday evening.
The soldier, who serves as a team commander in the 202nd paratrooper battalion, was able to neutralize the 13-year-old terrorist after he and his father were shot. The soldier's father was moderately-to-seriously wounded.
Shaarei Tzedek Medical Center stated that the soldier remained in serious condition and that his life was in danger, though this danger was not "immediate." The hospital added that his life has been in danger since the shooting on Saturday.
