A man was taken into custody on Monday after allegedly trying to push past a blocked road near First Lady Jill Biden’s motorcade, ABC News reported.
The suspect was arrested after attempting to infiltrate the closed off corridor, the US Secret Service said.
He was charged with assault on police, failure to obey, crossing a police line and resisting arrest, according to officials.
"The individual struggled with uniform division officers and was ultimately placed into custody," the Secret Service told ABC News.
