
A Florida man with a firearm attempted to flee police on a lawnmower before being tasered and arrested on Saturday.
According to the Washington Examiner, the 40-year old man attempted was being served an arrest warrant by police. He reacted by attempting to flee on a lawnmower.
The Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office said that police chased the suspect on foot and when he refused to stop the lawnmower he was tasered.
Police searched the suspect and found a handgun, a handcuff key, and a pipe with methamphetamine residue.
The suspect faces multiple charges, including grand theft, felony criminal mischief, resisting an officer, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a concealed weapon by a convicted felon.
