A group of hareidi-religious Jewish men demonstrated their sense of humor recently by taking violent arrests and turning them into an amusing wedding dance.

Hareidi men clashed with police during recent protests against government plans to require hareidi Torah students to enlist in the army.

The “police” dancers were dressed as members of the special operations Border Police unit, the Yassam. Despite the Border Police’s recent recruitment of hareidi religious men, the unit remains known to many primarily for its firm hand in quelling civil unrest in Jerusalem.
