(IsraelNN.com) At 10:30 this morning (Tuesday), a solidarity demonstration will be help opposite the Be’er Sheva District Court for administrative detainee Neria Ofan. The solidarity effort will coincide with a hearing in the court during which attorney Naftali Wurtzburger will request his client be formally charged with a crime or released.
Ofan was placed in six-month administrative detention this week for his opposition to the Gaza Disengagement Plan. According to Wurtzburger, authorities claim he planned attacks against Arabs but he has not seen proof to justify such claims.
