MK Ariel Kelner (Likud) submitted a request for an urgent discussion in the Constitution, Law and Justice Committee, regarding the organization "The Center for the Protection of the Individual". The letter was signed by seven other MKs, including Tali Gottlieb, Matan Kahana, Yitzhak Kroizer, Moshe Saada and others.

Persons from the Register of Associations and the Ministry of Justice will be invited to the discussion, who will be required to discuss the status of the organization as a charity.

MK Kelner commented: "Does it sound reasonable to anyone that an organization that provides free legal assistance to terrorists and their families would receive recognition as a registered non-profit organization in Israel? At a time when terrorism is rampant and our best sons are being murdered just for being Jews, we must fight not only terrorism but also its cover. Action must be taken to dismantle 'the center for the protection of the individual' before anyone else is injured."
