Prime Minister of Slovakia, Eduard Heger visited the Western Wall, where he was welcomed by the Rabbi of the Western Wall and the Holy Places, Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz, and CEO of the Western Wall Heritage Foundation, Mordechai Eliav.
Heger placed a note within the stones of the Wall and proceeded to go on a tour of the Western Wall tunnels, signing the visitor's book: "It is an honor for me to stand here as a representative of my country - Slovakia. We thank Israel for your friendship. We have a history together and we want to build a future and legacy together," he wrote.
