A female Arab terrorist was arrested late Wednesday morning after entering the town of Kedumim, located in Samaria to the north of Ariel.

The terrorist was found to be armed with a knife, and apparently was intending to conducting a stabbing attack.

She was interrogated at the scene.

The apparent attack attempt comes just a short time after a stabbing attack was thwarted at a check post near the Arab village of Al-Zawiya, around 15 kilometers west of Ariel. Soldiers were able to shoot the terrorist dead before he could inflict any wounds.

Wednesday morning has seen a flurry of attacks; earlier in the morning a two-pronged attack was committed by two armed Arab terrorists driving in a car in Jerusalem. They first shot at an Egged bus at Ramot Junction near the northwestern Ramot neighborhood of Jerusalem, before a civilian shot back at them and caused them to flee.

They drove from there to Hatzanchanim Street that runs parallel to the northern side of the Old City, and not far from the Damascus Gate they began firing on cars from their vehicle before being shot and neutralized by security forces. One of the terrorists died.

Ironically a 50-year-old Arab resident of eastern Jerusalem was unintentionally shot and seriously wounded by the terrorists after they began opening fire on Hatzanchanim Street. He was rushed to Hadassah Mount Scopus Hospital for treatment.

Wednesday's attacks follow a bloody Tuesday, in which no fewer than three high level attacks were conducted. They took place in Petah Tikva, where a man was moderately wounded but managed to fight back and kill his Arab attacker, Jerusalem, where two officers were shot and seriously wounded, and Yafo, where a mass casualty stabbing took place.

In Yafo an American tourist, Taylor Allen Force, was murdered and 12 others were wounded by an Arab terrorist who went on a stabbing rampage. The US issued a condemnation of the attack.
