At least one person was killed and 10 others inured after a vehicle rammed a group of people in the city of Caen in northwestern France.
According to authorities, four of the victims are in serious condition and six sustained light injuries.
The driver escaped the scene, but was arrested around 20 kilometers away.
Police are investigating, and at this stage have not declared the incident terror-related.
