Nissim Louk, father of Shani Louk who was murdered at the Nova Festival on October 7th and whose body was abducted to the Gaza Strip, confronted Transportation Minister Miri Regev during her visit to Jerusalem's Mahane Yehuda Market while out with her Likud primary campaign bus.
Wearing a t-shirt for the "Orot HaShachar" party, Louk launched a fierce attack on Regev and Likud, holding them responsible for the October 7th attacks.
"You brought about October 7th. Shame on you, Likud! My daughter Shani Louk was murdered because of you. Shame on you! 3,000 dead because of you, and you just keep smiling," Louk shouted at her. Regev continued taking photos with supporters before boarding her campaign bus.
The confrontation escalated into a debate with one of Regev's supporters after Louk asserted that Likud "funded Hamas." When the supporter countered, "What does that have to do with her?", Louk retorted, "Shame on you!"
The supporter accused Louk of staging a provocation, responding to his claim about Likud funding Hamas by telling him: "You funded Hamas! You, Bennett, Liberman, Lapid, and all the idiots."
Louk continued to protest the government's policy regarding the Gaza Strip, urging: "Promote emigration from Gaza! You signed an agreement handing Gaza over to the Muslim Brotherhood!"
The Likud supporter responded: "Only Bibi knows what's going to happen - not you, not me, not anyone." Louk went on to accuse the Prime Minister and key cabinet ministers of accountability for decisions shaping the future of the enclave.
"Netanyahu, Smotrich, Ben Gvir, Strock, Sa'ar, and Levin passed the bill transferring the Gaza Strip to the Muslim Brotherhood. And you think that's a good thing? What are you even doing? Shame on you!" Louk said. He concluded his outburst by declaring to Likud loyalists: "Likud is going to collapse. You're not the right - you're the left."
