The IDF conducted an intensive series of airstrikes over the weekend against targets linked to Iran and its proxy Hezbollah in Lebanon.
According to an IDF summary released today, Israeli forces struck more than 300 targets inside Iran, while simultaneously hitting over 170 Hezbollah positions in Lebanon. The operations involved dozens of extensive waves of airstrikes carried out by the Israeli Air Force across multiple fronts.
In Iran, the strikes focused heavily on Tehran and surrounding areas, targeting missile infrastructure and regime leadership facilities. Key hits included above- and below-ground missile storage sites, dozens of ballistic missile launchers that were dismantled, and a large number of Iranian military personnel eliminated.
Notably, the IDF reported successfully destroying the underground bunker of Iran's late Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, located beneath the regime's central leadership complex in Tehran. This facility, described by Israeli officials as an emergency command center, had reportedly remained in use by senior regime officials following Khamenei's death in earlier strikes last week. Additional targets encompassed the headquarters of a special unit in Alborz province, bases tied to Basij forces and internal security units, and 16 aircraft belonging to the Quds Force-used for weapon transfers to Hezbollah-that were destroyed.
Simultaneously in Lebanon, the Israeli Air Force executed dozens of broad waves of strikes across Beirut and other regions. These included an IRGC Air Force headquarters, other Hezbollah unit command sites, rocket launchers, and weapons storage facilities in southern Lebanon, as well as military positions in the Beqaa Valley. The IDF also reported eliminating several Hezbollah commanders in Beirut and a Hamas commander in the Tripoli area.
