The Hostages and Missing Families Forum released a statement of solidarity with the Australian Jewish community following the deadly mass shooting at a Hanukkah celebration in Sydney today (Sunday).
"We, the families of the hostages and those who survived captivity, stand in solidarity with the Jewish community and with all those affected by today's horrific terrorist attack in Bondi Beach," the families and survivors stated.
"We will always remember how you stood with us. You organized rallies, raised your voices, and showed up time and again, refusing to let the world forget those held captive in Gaza. That support meant more than words can express.
Just as you stood with us during our darkest time, we stand with you now. We share your grief, and we remain united in rejecting hatred and violence," the families statement concluded.
At least ten people were murdered and dozens more were wounded in the shooting, which was carried out during a Hanukkah celebration at Bondi Beach.
